Baked Donuts Multiple Toppings

Although these delights are worth every penny what if I said you could EASILY make them yourself? Well…YOU CAN! Throw out the frying oil and thermometer! You won’t need them.  This is the easiest and tastiest BAKED chocolate donut recipe and the toppings are built to amaze.  Let’s satisfy those cocoa cravings.  It’s time to build a masterpiece…

You will need a DONUT PAN and a SCALE for this recipe.

VIDEO INSTRUCTIONS

Donut Recipe:

Bread Flour – 120 grams
Sugar – 98 grams
Guittard Cocoa Powder – 19 grams
Baking Powder – 3 grams
Salt – 3 grams

Milk – 30 grams
Vegetable Oil – 81 grams
Large Whole Egg – 1
Egg Yolk – 1
Vanilla Extract – 5 grams
————————–
Guittard Chocolate Chips – 100 grams

Donut Instructions:

1. In a large bowl weigh out and combine the bread flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Whisk together.
2. In that same bowl weigh and add the milk, vegetable oil, whole egg, egg yolk and vanilla.  Whisk all ingredients together until combined (It will be thick. Do not over mix).
3. BONUS – Add the chocolate chips. It adds a creaminess that regular donuts don’t have.
4. Portion out the batter into your donut pan(this recipe makes 6 donuts). 
5. Baking in the oven at 400 degrees for 8 minutes on CONVECTION! *Yes now is the time to use that convection tool you never really knew how or why to use.

Toppings

PEANUT BUTTER CREAM!

Peanut Butter Goodness

Ingredients:
150 grams – Guittard Choc-au-Lait White Vanilla Chips
76 grams – Smooth Peanut Butter

Instructions:
1. Put both ingredients into a small microwave-safe bowl.
2. Microwave 15 seconds at a time, mixing with a spoon in between every 15 second interval, until fully melted and combined.
3. Dunk/dip smooth side of your donut into the Peanut Butter Cream.
3. Top with sprinkles of your choice.

DARK CHOCOLATE GANACHE

Dark Chocolate Ganache
Ingredients:
200 grams – Guittard Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
110 grams – Heavy Cream

Instructions: 
1. Weigh out chocolate chips and put them into a small bowl.
2. Weigh out and put heavy cream into a small pot.  Heat on the stovetop on medium high.  Once the first signs of a boil (small bubbles) start to show remove heavy cream from heat.
3.  Pour heavy cream over the chocolate chips. Let set for 1 minute without touching.
4. Whisk together until fully combined.
5. Dunk/dip the smooth side of your donut into the Dark Chocolate Ganache.
6. Top with sprinkles of your choice.

MILK/WHITE CHOCOLATE GANACHE!

Pink Heart - Milk Chocolate GanacheGreen Machine

Ingredients:
200 grams – Milk or White Chocolate Chips
90 grams – Heavy Cream

Instructions:
1. Weigh out chocolate chips and put them into a small bowl.
2. Weigh out and put heavy cream into a small pot.  Heat on the stovetop on medium high.  Once the first signs of a boil(small bubbles) start to show remove heavy cream from heat.
